Italy is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world and has always attracted millions of tourists from all over. Where to visit in Italy

Italy boasts many excellent cities, Rome, the capital, is a melting pot of history, art, tradition and culture ... it's an open-air museum.  Florence also has a fantastic history, where you can find beauty around every corner. Milan, is Italy's most important economic and financial centre and has always been at the forefront of fashion. Venice, is romantic and Turin, is a beautiful and mysterious city surrounded by the Alps. The south of the 'bel paese' has Naples, Lecce, Caserta. The two main islands Sicily and Sardinia, which are varied landscapes featuring both crystalline sea and green mountains.

Italian Food

The cuisine in Italy is very regional and is varied in flavors. Each region has its own traditional dishes, prepared with food grown in the area and well loved by the locals. The Italian culinary tradition is based on the Mediterranean diet and has produced some of the most famous dishes in the world, including Neapolitan pizza, tagliatelle alla bolognese and lasagna! Mozzarella and delicious cured meats and cheeses, pasta with fish and risotto of various as well.

The port cities

The main Italian port cities are Venice, Ancona, Bari and Brindisi on the east coast of the country and Genoa, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Naples and Salerno on the west. The island of Sicily is connected to Palermo, Messina, Catania and Termini Imerese; and Sardinia is connected to Olbia, Arbatax, Cagliari, Porto Torres, Golfo Aranci and Santa Teresa di Gallura.
