The port of Al Hoceima, on the northern coast of Morocco, is a small port for passenger ferries and an essential part of the country's tourism industry. You'll be immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the fish markets as soon as you arrive at the harbour, which is full of fishing boats and fishermen hauling in the day's catch.
The most frequent ferry connections are with Almeria, in Spain, and the crossing is only six hours. There are essential services inside the port, including toilets, air-conditioned waiting rooms and tourist information points, where you can also rent a boat for excursions.
