Ferries from Pesaro
The port of Pesaro is a port is known for fishing and commercial trade and is composed of two parallel piers that also serve passenger and cruise ships. It is a canal port on the mouth of the Foglia river. In the past, life in Pesaro revolved around the port and its activities and in the 1400s this was one of the most important ports in the Adriatic. In 1800 they created a new port and lengthened the basin, to expand the port of Pesaro in comparison with the nearby ports of Ancona and Ravenna.
How to reach the port of Pesaro
You can reach the port of Pesaro by car along the A14 motorway, for those coming from the north just take the Pesaro/Urbino exit and follow the signs for Pesaro Centro and Pesaro Porto. For those coming from the south, follow the A14 motorway to the Fano exit and follow the directions to the port. By train, the station is about two kilometers from the port but there are no public transport connections from there and you can only take a taxi or go on foot. By plane you can reach the port of Pesaro from Ancona airport, which is 45 kilometers away, or Bologna airport, 150 kilometers away.
