The port of Tinos is located to the southwest of the island and provides connections to many of the Cyclades islands. The new port is located close to the center of Chora with nice beaches in the vicinity. There are useful passenger services around the port. Athens is the closest airport, from which you can easily move to Rafina and embark for Tinos. Athens International Airport is about 15 kilometers from the port of Rafina and there are connections provided by Ktel buses that depart every hour, the journey takes about thirty minutes.... Nisyros is famous for its volcano, which is the islands main tourist attraction.
