The port of Ceuta is in northern Morocco, located in the Strait of Gibraltar, the city of Ceuta is an autonomous Spanish province. The primary services are passenger ferries heading for the Iberian Peninsula, Ceuta also serves as a port of entry for foreign goods. The port contributes significantly to the city's economy, especially the tourism industry. The passenger terminal is small but has all the services you need: ticket offices, toilets, bars and restaurants, waiting rooms and a tourist information point.
How to reach the port of Ceuta
The passenger terminal, located near the city centre, is just 15 minutes away on foot. There is a path that runs along the sea and has a beautiful panoramic view. There is no public transport connecting the city centre to the port, only taxis or on foot. Taxis are available at the Alfao pier.
If you have a car, drive to port along the N 352 road, and once you enter the city, follow the signs for the port, only five minutes from the centre and 4 kilometres from the border with Morocco. If you need to leave your car at the port, there is a parking area that can accommodate up to 252 cars. The first hour of parking is free; then you pay per hour or daily — the guarded car park allows you to leave any vehicle.
