The port of Folegandros is located in Karavostassis, a small village in the south-eastern part of the island. It is about three kilometers Chora, the islands capital that it is well connected. There are ferry connections to the many islands of the Cyclades archipelago. There is also a connection with Piraeus via ferries and ships carrying vehicles and passengers, some of the routes are operated by faster catamarans and hydrofoils. Katapola is a resort on the north coast of the island of Amorgos, it is the main landing point on the island and the largest tourist center, it is full of restaurants and hotels. Places to visit Be sure to take a walk along the promenade when the sun is down to see the taverns all lit up to create a traditional Greek atmosphere.
