The Port of Nynäshamn is a modern passenger and RoRo port. It is located 60 kilometres south of Stockholm. It is strategically located for services to and from central and southern Baltic Sea ports.
Getting to and from the terminal
By car from Stockholm, take the expressway 73 for 60 kilometres to Nynäshamn. Then Telia Road / Nynäsvägen leads directly to the ferry terminal. If you are driving from the west or south Sweden, take the 225 motorway between Södertälje (E4) and Nynashamn for about 50 kilometres. Go through Nynashamn to Nynäsvägen and then take the first right to the ferry terminal after about 100 meters or so.
Foot passengers can travel from Stockholm to Nynäshamn by train, it takes about 1 hour the train station is just 5 minutes from the ferry terminal. There are also regular buses to Nynäshamn from Södertälje and Stockholm. Taxis can be booked from Haninge & Nynäshamn Taxi AB.
The nearest airport is Stockholm International located about 100 kilometres from the port. There are trains connecting the airport with Stockholm and Stockholm with the port for foot passengers, they take about 1 hour and a half in total.
