The port of Patmos is located in Skala, on the east coast of the island. Being a small island, the port is of modest size, offering anchorage to passenger ferries from the neighboring islands in the Dodecanese archipelago. Katapola is a resort on the north coast of the island of Amorgos, it is the main landing point on the island and the largest tourist center, it is full of restaurants and hotels.
