The port of Porto Heli, in the Argolid region is about 175 kilometers from Athens. It becomes very crowded during the summer season and provides connections to the neighboring islands in the Saronic Gulf and the port of Piraeus. How to reach Porto Heli
Porto Heli does not have an airport, the nearest is Athens International. From the airport there are bus connections to the port of Piraeus and from here you can take a ferry to Porto Heli. By car, the trip takes about three hours along the highway connecting Athens and Corinth. Just after the Corinth Canal exit the highway and follow the signs for Epidaurus, then follow a very picturesque road to Porto Heli. There are Ktel bus connections from Athens bus station to Kranidi, that takes three hours then take a 30 min connecting bus to Porto Heli.
