Barcelona is one of the most important port in Europe for both commercial shipping and tourism and this destination plays host to many tourists from around the world each year. The port of Barcelona is divided into several areas, one of which is intended for embarking and disembarking passengers of ferries and cruise ships. There are 7 terminals with three main positions:

A bus service to the port area leaves from Plaça de les Drassanes every half an hour.
Terminal World Trade Center: consists of 3 terminals named East, North and South. It is located close enough to Las Ramblas and serves small ferries. Its easy to reach this terminal by car from the center or you can go on foot from the Drassanes metro station.
Maremagenum Port Vell: a terminal used for private or commercial boats. This terminal is in the immediate vicinity of the Columbus Monument, at the end of Las Ramblas.
