How to reach the port of Messina
By car travel along the A / 20 Messina-Palermo to the port of Messina, the Messina Boccetta highway exit is recommended. Along the Viale Boccetta, turn left onto Viale della Libertà towards the Rada San Francesco to get to the ferry.
The railway services crossing the Strait are served by the Messina Marittima Station, adjacent to the Central Station of Messina. The railway station of Messina is located in Piazza della Repubblica just a few hundred meters from the RFI maritime terminal, near the Rizzo quay. It is equipped with railway links that can guarantee fast boarding of the railway carriages on the RFI ferries. Messina does not have an airport, the nearest is that of Reggio Calabria, which is only thirty kilometers away along the E 190 road.
