Ferries from Ventotene
Ventotene is connected with Pontine Islands (Ponza), Gulf Of Naples (Casamicciola/ischia) and Italy (Naples Beverello). The sea crossing between Ventotene and any other destination is temporarily not in operation by sailing companies in partnership with NetFerry.
The island of Ventotene has two ports, the Porto Romano and a modern port in the Cala Rossano area, called Porto Nuovo.
The Roman Port is intended for the docking of small boats and small fishing vessels. This small harbor is protected by Punta Pertuso, a rock that goes south forming a natural pier.
The New Port is the landing point for commercial and passenger ferries, hydrofoils, large ships and boats for transport to and from the mainland. The Porto Nuovo is located north of the Roman port and is protected by a pier above the river with a dock of about 370 meters.
